This was a memory about my dad, who just recently passed away. I miss him so much. I am so glad he was able to reply to this post 1 month before he passed away.

Sensory Overload for Toddlers and Children
Most of us connect toddlerhood with “Tantrums” an outburst where the child is unable to express their feelings clearly, they become sometimes unmanageable. We see this action in almost all children. Toddlers can experience sensory overload and their behaviours may actually look a little different than a “tantrum”.
A toddler whose sensory system is overloaded may cry for an extended time. He or she may pound fists or be aggressive with pushing, hitting or even kicking. They may even become emotional in certain situations, and often there is difficulty in trying to calm the child down. The same can be said for older children as well.
Typically we expect all children to have some form of “Tantrums”, however sensory overload is often more extreme and lasts for a longer time period, and the child’s ability to calm down on their own is often impeded.
Therapeutic Benefits of Slime Making
Despite some potential annoyances like it’s messy and that it can ruin your carpet, furniture, and clothes. It can even get stuck in hair. Slime has many therapeutic benefits. There are therapeutic benefits from making slime, and it is a fun finger-strengthening activity for kids! To activate slimes, your child needs to knead and squeeze the slime. This can help release tension, manage any nervous energy or frustration or fidgeting. Practice fine motor skills and encourage finger dexterity by adding fun little objects to your slime play. Did you know that Slime is great for younger children to work on their hand strengthening? Children enjoy grasping, pulling, and moulding the slime. Working hand and finger muscles are important for child development and will improve their fine motor skills.
The Best ever Salmon Rub makes for an easy dinner.
Sometimes you come across a great product and you never want to buy anything else but that. This is one of those products. I grew up in BC Canada where there is an abundance of local fish I since have moved to a province called Alberta within Canada and Alberta is more known for its beef than seafood! Lol. Fish can be a fast and healthy alternative for dinner especially if you are in a rush and need to get the kids to a soccer game or it can be a nice sit-down fancy dinner with guests. Throughout the years I have tried and like Salmon on its own with just dill, lemon and butter or in a cream sauce but I came across this rub in my local grocery store and absolutely love it. This rub is called Famous British Columbia Salmon Rub. This Rub has a nice bit of heat to it and rice or mashed potato is a nice compliment along with a salad or some green beans.
