The best way to spread Christmas cheer is by singing loud for all to hear! On December 25, Christians from all over the world gather and celebrate Jesus’ birth.
Christmas is now celebrated by people around the globe theatre they are Christian or not. We celebrate with Joyful songs (carols)special liturgies, beautifully and brightly wrapped gifts and festive foods. It’s a time when our family and friends come together and remember the things that they have.

How do I Spread the Cheer?
The festive season spread the cheer by giving to other people and sharing something with the less fortunate you can do this by volunteering at a soup kitchen an animal shelter or nursing home.
We can also spread Christmas cheer in a fun way with family, friends, neighbours and co-workers.
Here are some ideas
Christmas music “Caroling with Friends and family”
Just like in the Christmas Movie “Elf” “The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear!”
This is so true I remember going carolling with my dad outside his apartment building and we had so much fun. Some didn’t like our singing but none the less I think we definitely were able to spread the spirit of the season as music is such a special part of Christmas and it was exciting to don our gay apparel and dash away to the halls of the apartment building with our songbooks in hand with all the old-time favourites.
It is lots of fun to be part of a carolling event or create your own event and sing and drink hot chocolate on your merry way with family and friends. Roam around the streets in your neighbourhood and sing your favourite tunes. Get your Fa la las ready and grab some cozy warm clothes for the walk!

Go to a holiday party or host one
This is one of my favourite things to do because I love to decorate, cook and bake. decorate your door with a festive wreath to welcome your guests along with a Christmas tree and other Christmas decor inside your house.
Find a small table and put out all sorts of desserts from cookies and add some appetizers and share this holiday cheer with your family and friends with a big party. The kids might have fun with Christmas karaoke!
You can find a party to go to some community groups have dances or churches will have some fun ways to celebrate with friends and neighbours. This is a fun way to spend the holiday season and share stories and eat great food!

Visit Family and Friends
Sometimes it can be difficult to make time to spend with our family and friends throughout the year but why not spend some wonderful time during this magical holiday season of Christmas. Think about those less fortunate or that may be feeling lonely or forgotten this time of year. Take the time to reach out to those individuals and wish them a Merry Christmas by showing up surprised or planned with a smile can be fun and can bring the holiday spirit out. If you are unable to visit those people why not try a zoom call and spend some time virtually. Near or far carve out some time and spread some Christmas cheer.

Secret Santa is the best way to spread Christmas Cheer.
What is Secret Santa?
This is a fun way to do gifting. Giving a gift is what I look forward to every year! It’s such a great way to spread Christmas cheer. It just warms my heart to see another person’s face light up when they open that special gift that you have picked out or made for them.
There are different secret santa programs online to help in drawing names especially when it can be so difficult at times to bring everyone together. Just pick out the time and meet to share your gift or mail your gift out. You can also give Santa some ideas or choose not to so you get a surprise!

Christmas Display of Lights and Decorations
Look for local attractions where you live and go and look at Christmas displays and Christmas trees that are decorated. Most of these attractions may cost a small fee or a donation. You can even get the children all bundled up and drive in your local neighbourhoods and see the lights displayed on all the houses. This will bring some magic to your child’s eyes as the Christmas season lights up and magic and beauty can be found everywhere.
